Fall Fashion Girl’s Guide Of Reading Material

With fall officially here and the warm weather days coming to a close, you will have more down time to read out in your hammock for the time being or when it gets cooler, hunker-down underneath a warm blanket and read by the fire. Either way sounds pretty good to me, as long as I have a compelling read. I read How to be a Parisian wherever you are (by authors Anne Berest, Audrey Diwan, Sophie Mas and Caroline De Maigret) at the beginning of the summer and couldn’t’ put it down for a second (such a fuckin scintillating and comical book). A funny and witty delight it was, I was extremely curious about what makes french women tick. Surprisingly enough, I was impressed and puzzled at the same time about how french women conduct themselves, how they spend their days, fashion advice and what their like as mothers as well as girlfriends’ and wives. All these fashion savvy books are designed for that hardcore fashion girl looking for any kind of inspiration with a number of images and stories. These should keep your fall very interesting to say the least…..

Here is the list of a fashion girl’s guide of reading material: #GirlBoss By Sophia Amoruso, Grace By Grace Coddington, Helmut Newton’s Polaroids, Arthur Elgort: The Big Picture, and lastly Vogue:Like a Painting.

Keep me posted guys on which books you like or thought was interesting (or not). Also, I’m glad to receive any recommendations you might have as well (are we starting Oprah’s book club here or what?!) Happy reading!

  1. I have #Girlboss downloaded on my Kindle waiting for me to finally read it! Helmut Newton’s Polaroids looks interesting too. I also have Kelly Cutrone’s “If You Have to Cry, Go Outside: And Other Things Your Mother Never Told You” on my reading list for this month 🙂 XO
