Pilgrim Blouse

This Phillip Lim blouse is another piece that has been long overdue for a showing off. These pics don’t even do this blouse justice. I scooped up this amazing blouse about a couple of months ago and cannot stop wearing it, I repeat cannot stop wearing it. It’s basically down to threads right now (lol). I call it my pilgrim blouse for obvious reasons.

I LOVE blouses…white blouses in particular-in all shapes and forms. I have quite the archive from Rita. And the fact that its Phillip Lim is a cherry on top, I am a huge Phillip Lim fan. I always scan his collections on my favorite holiday, NYFW.

When I first saw this blouse, I was immediately drawn to the voluminous balloon sleeves. Aren’t they fabulous?! They remind me of the legendary Victorian era with the shape of the sleeves and cuff. Also, loving the pleated bib tie neck collar. It has structured elements without being too stiff but soft as a blouse should be. This shirt is definitely from another time and is absolutely remarkable.

All white blouses are so adaptable, you can dress it up or down. I would wear this blouse with cropped trousers, wrap or pencil skirts and jeans like here. Perfection in a top.

Did you happen to notice my pink cap toe Pradas?  I’m hooked already. They are a little steep to walk in but I’m not wimping out on them. I have a high pain tolerance. Again, I’ve had these shoes for months and was waiting for winter to subside to show you guys.

Wearing my comfy Acne jeans and Karen Walker sunnies.
