Perfect Spring Camel

Fashion week has come to an end and I finally got caught up on my runways due to being busy, so sorry for the late fashion week post. I had some post fashion week thoughts to share with you guys. As I sit here typing this post in my pajamas embarrassingly, glasses on hand, hair not done and no makeup,  I look to see what has graced the runways for Fall Ready to wear 2016 (if I sound bitter, it’s because I am). I envy the models wearing the latest on the runway such as Sarah Burton’s impressive line up of lustrous and shimmering dresses and the band of impeccable military coats for Burberry, or Karl Lagerfeld’s Fendi waves based his collection of Einstein’s theory of gravitational waves. The compilation had a variety of silhouettes, blouses and pleated skirts, ruched waist dresses, leg-o-mutton sleeves, lush fur coats, a fuse of stripes in different hues and blue over the knee boots. It’s so hard to fathom that these clothes actually exist beyond the scope of my little world mainly known as my computer.

I also liked Paris fashion week-lots of inventive pieces were showcased on the catwalk. Paris fashion week is always my fav-I hope I get the opportunity to attend someday. Don’t you just love the Chloe and Prada girl for fall-I do! Chloe illuminates its runways with the sense of a chic traveler. It highlights a modern boyish adventurer which integrates biker leather motocross girl meets boho combined. Various types of leather pants in all lengths, charming tie neck blouses, neutral boho dresses, shearling pullovers and big blanket ponchos. I also loved Valentino’s collection that captured moody dancer chic with long ankle length tulle and turtlenecks under fluid dresses that definitely has me so giddy for fall.

On a post related note, spring does not always mean we have great weather, so we need transitional pieces to beat that spring chill. The camel coat is definitely prime real estate in the world of style-its definitely the perfect essential for spring. I love the sophisticated and classic appeal of the camel coat-it’s so versatile, I like pairing a long maxi print dress with it or a sweater and jeans for a more casual look. You can pretty much nail any look with with it.  I hope I inspired you to get your camel out of your closet and rock it this season.

P.s. Why do I look so serious in these pics Lol

Happy Monday, Jade
